Back All, So if I understand things it's definitely not that timeouts are "broken" as was mentioned yesterday so much as it the situation is "use with care: properly store and clear timeout object references using variable assignment", right? I guess I'm just wondering where the "broken" part of the equation comes into play. It just seems a bit dangerous for folks to go around saying things like this when it's not really the case, or is it? I'm still waiting to see how they're _broken_ in any way - you can freely and _safely_ use them so long as you store the result of the timeout() function in a variable, then call forget() off that variable and set it to VOID when done.
