Hey all, getting back into SMAUG coding.. and man do I have a lot to relaern
lol..
once upon a time I had a fully functioning inject system. Basically, I made
a new item type TYPE_INGREDIENT, and used v0-5 to measure quantity, quality,
spell sn, addiction level, etc etc.
Now, dozens of these ingredients were sctrewn across the land, to buy, kill,
or search for. Up to 3 could be 'prepare'd' in a vial to either give 3 weak
spells, 1 strong spell, or 1 medium + 1 small (strength's were generally
lengths). It basically used three of the value{*}'s.
Now I recall some amount of copy/pasting the way those value's get
saved/loaded in save..c ... however, just coming back, I'm not uber familiar
with them atm :P
Also, I was reading up on TYPE_HERB to try and get a feel for the way items
are defined/used in a semi-similar fashion, but I've yet to find the answer.
I'm sure it'll take awhile of sifting throught the code to reaquaint myself,
but any and all information you could point me to would be great. Have
always liked the SMAUG community, and this mailing.
PS. how do you sset an herb? the herb sn's overlap normal skills.
