Hi all, At the moment I use series of png images to create animations of my main character. I chose this format because this gives the nicest transparency of the character on the background. Using gif or something else (combining with background transparency ink) set the border of the images to be so (how does one call it in English?) hard pixel anti-aliasing.. Well it just looks ugly..
Can someone tell how you guys do such things? Are you just using different inks or is it some other magic trick?
Thanks, Benjamin Ps I think for all the animation (up down left right rightup rightdown leftup leftdown) I think I'll have to use about 128 pictures to cover all the walk cycles
