While I think that the Flash game URL I posted is a noteworthy
accomplishment, the reason I think so is that it's Flash.

It's not something that couldn't have been done with pre-SW3D
Director, what makes it interesting is that someone managed to
squeeze the kind of performance they needed out of both the scripting
and rendering engines. I don't think it'll be catching up with SW3D
any time soon because there are things you can do with a "true" 3D
environment with a machine-code base that you can't do with a system
written entirely in a scripting language. Otherwise, people like
Barry who began their own Lingo-based 3D engines long ago wouldn't be
working in SW3D at all.
