A rumor has been going around for a few days now that a
consolidation has occurred between the two major players in the
MMORPG item sales for cash sector.  I spent a good part of the
morning trying to find an official statement but was unsuccessful.
I have enough unofficial confirmation from individuals and there are
some observables (both sites traffic the exact same items now) that
convince me the statement is true enough to post here.

This news marks an interesting point in the maturation of this
sector.  IGE appears to be moving toward becoming an increasingly
formal organization having retained (

and http://www.themis-group.com/view_news.phtml?id=23 ) The Themis
Group ( http://www.themis-group.com/ ) earlier this month for a
worldwide marketing campaign.
