This corresponds with my experience. I don't believe there are memory leaks as such, but the complexity of the scripting seperates the men from the boys, and then the appalling frustration of getting a hard crash with no feedback for relatively small errors beats the men into submission. It's just not something a non-autistic person can do in their spare time.
Tony seems to have got paid but even so, kudos to him for surviving!
BTW I also have an unfinished parent script wrapper for MUI. I was on my way to modelling the whole thing, so that you could make an instance to handle callbacks for each widget. In the end, my sanity was of more use to me.
