mob progs

mob progs

I have some old customized source that is rom2.4b that
I am running with, and I was thinking about running
mob progs.  Right now we have a number spec_'s that
we run, and some of the mobs have an update_always
flag they use.  The more mobs that have that flag
the high the overhead.  Would mob progs be more
efficient?  are there many security issues when
dealing with them?  I like the functionality they
offer, but I am not sure if there are any drawbacks.

your feedback would really help. (thanks)
