Ok, I have been working on this problem for some time
now and it's just driving me crazy. For some reason
when someone connects to my mud using telnet or gmud,
the mud freezes. I have added MXP and MSP, but I've
noticed that it has nothing to do with it, although, I
thought for quite some time that it didn't and I spent
alot of time barking up the wrong tree. Anyway, I use
quickmud btw. Anyway, I have done a few things, first,
once I got to the choose name prompt on the greeting
screen, and I tried to put in a name, it would freeze
once I hit enter. I removed the the
write_to_buffer(dnew, mxp_will, 0);
that I had to add to init_descriptor() and it allowed
me to input a name, but when I tried to put in a
password, it froze there. Which is what made me think
it was MXP, but I found out that a friend of mine had
tried to connect with telnet before I added mxp and it
did it then to. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas as to
why this could be happening please let me know. I am
lost right now and any idea would be greatly appreciated.
