Anyone who goes to the length of getting around someone's copy protection knows they are doing wrong I'd say. The copyright notice is simply in to 'keep them out of trouble' should someone like Duck find his game has been nicked.
As for the http referrer - I though this tag was deemed unreliable - some browsers didn't fill it in, or filled it in differently to others, making it fairly useless as an actual location detector?
There's gotta be a way around this, just need to work it out :/
